I signed up for
lgbtfest (surprise surprise) which this year has a one prompt per person rule, and I'm not good at making decisions! But I did, and signed up to do:
811. Crossover: Stargate Atlantis/Stargate SG-1, John Sheppard, The problem with having Cameron Mitchell for an ex is that he feels qualified to offer dating advice
Though I was incredibly torn between this and
scrollgirl's Cam and Carolyn church bake sale prompt - one step from flipping a coin, but hopefully someone else will sign up to write it.
I'm thinking my fic will be set in the alternate universe in Almost But Not Quite, where Cam and Weir are civilian vice-commander and commander respectively and Sheppard takes over from Sumner. Mainly because I want to write more of Elizabeth and Cam working together, and because it's half set up as a universe in which being gay isn't against the rules, though I'm undecided on whether to keep that or not - though heaven knows who Sheppard will be getting dating advice *about*... well, I'll worry about that when I get to it.
