I've just watched Childhood's End (oh my God, how *young* does the main cast look in season 1?!) and now I want
(a) Ford kid-fic (Ford with kids, not Ford as a kid)
(b) Stories about Ford and Carys (sp?) bonding over being 25 until Ford disappears and John has to go explain what's happened, and then Carys and his bow and arrow weilding friends go track Ford down and rescue him. Come on, it'd be awesome!
See, this is why I don't watch season 1- it always makes me want to write Ford-fic and, well, (a) I have ten things I want to write already, I don't need more and (b) Ford-fic always gets complicated by having to be au or having to end in Ford getting probably blown up.
I should go back to rewatching Numb3rs. At least then the plot bunnies were for the fanodm I'm actually supposed to be writing right now.

God, yes! I re-watched everything with my boyfriend (well, I re-watched, he watched) and we are now on S9 of SG-1 and S1 of SGA and the first few seasons of SG-1 and now with SGA, I am having the same thought. They are so... tiny ;)

They really are! I mean, John less than the others, but McKay looks about 12!

*sigh* Ford. I miss him so much, and it still irks me that they couldn't find a way to keep him around and give him something else to do.
I'm writing this epic "Rodney joins the Stargate program" fic (which ends just after Duet) and I'm planning on having some significant Rodney-and-Aiden moments, just because they had such great interaction in Hot Zone (the hug! OMG). Oh, Ford.
